It is the year 2065 and the World's oceans are policed by the World Aquanaut Security Patrol or W.A.S.P. At their top secret headquarters of Marineville, Troy Tempest is the fearless captain of the W.A.S.P's most powerful asset; the super-sub STINGRAY. Gerry Anderson's STINGRAY first appeared on television screens in 1964, and although it was first broadcast in black and white, it made television history by being the first British television series to be filmed entirely in colour.
